Summit FC 2021 Season
8 Jan 2021 by Travis Hayden
Dear Summit FC families,
Happy New Year!
We hope you have had a great holiday season and are looking forward to all that 2021 brings us. We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we attempt to navigate running our club during this Pandemic. As you may have heard the governor has allowed recreational sports to begin training again with smaller numbers. This is terrific news! With this said and as we prepare for the 2021 season, it is necessary for the club to begin its registration process. This will allow us to better prepare for the season relative to the hiring of the coaching staff, indoor practice scheduling as well as tournament selection.
We will be opening the registration portal on FRIDAY JANUARY 8th and will send you a link. Upon registration, you will be asked for a $50 non-refundable deposit. This is required and your roll-over credit (if you chose that option last season) cannot be used toward the deposit. This deposit amount will be deducted from the total dues for the season. Below is an outline of the fee structure and timeline for this season.
2021 program/club fees:
$500 for U10s (after Feb 8, $600)
$600 for U12s and up. (after Feb 8, $700)
2021 payment schedule:
Jan 8-Feb 8: $50 Non-refundable deposit for all age groups
March 8: $250 U10s (payment or credited amount if applicable) / $300 U12s & Up (payment or credited amount if applicable)
April 8: $200 U10s (payment via check) / $250 U12s & Up (payment via check)
NOTE:AFTER FEBRUARY 8th THE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WILL INCREASE TO $150, thus increasing your overall registration fee.
Your early registration will ensure and secure your spot at the discounted rate. To further explain the requirement of a non-refundable deposit, please know that the Club continues to have ongoing expenses we are obligated to meet including leasing our fields and insurance to name just a few.
Finally, I would like to briefly describe the registration process for this year. In a subsequent email you will receive a link to the gotsoccer portal. You must log in and fill out the player registration information. You will need a credit card in order to pay the non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance due for program/club fees will be invoiced to you by mail. This is a different process than what we have done in the past. The board felt that because there were so many families that opted for the credit rollover from last year, this was the easier way to track and receive payments.
I think I speak for everyone when I say, I hope 2021 allows us to get back to our normal way of life. This will undoubtedly be a step-by-step process. In the coming weeks we will be sharing with you the protocols that we will be following to ensure the safety for players coaches in families.
Be safe and be well,
Mike
